There’s no safe harbor for the hatred
No easy access for the faith To feel the wonder and the beauty You have to bleed and run the race The light may seem so distant, dimming A beating echo fails to soothe So lay your head down gently, weary Of hope that’s ended much too soon We always think the path forever But walk amidst the broken boughs Soon we forget the raging silence As we remove the mask of doubt For tragedy resides with secrets Unveiled within the final hour Flayed open wide to light the darkness So regrets can lose their power So bare your soul and free delusions The authenticity of self An insanity so brilliant A legacy your only wealth So as you listen now to whispers Maybe awake alone and cold Stop asking for permission Embrace the galaxy …of your soul For there’s no safe harbor for the hatred No easy access for a faith To feel the wonder and the beauty You have to bleed and run this race. To feel the wonder and the beauty You have to bleed and run the race.
