As I stare into the night; decipher this gain
Ask myself once again, could I have ended this pain? For when I stand my own ground, the amusement is clear And the angry undoubtedly will never choose to hear We are given one life and must decide where to go But while in paths of thorns, I now suddenly know My life is much simpler if I just walk away An end to an era, but I simply can’t stay To ease my own suffering, I must break these chains For the Fear of the Unknown no longer reigns My cocoon opening slow; a new day has dawned With my beautiful wings I’ve had all along Time to aim for the stars and flutter in fun An unyielding new passion tells me this time I’ve won.
