Hold your breath
Close your eyes Feel the unseen Unveil the lies Then let yourself crumble Climb from the depths Push back the pain Inhale the pride A future now bright The hope resounds new A thundering voice One of the few Fragments of memory Flicker and fade The harm can turn helpful If we choose it to So touching the rainbow Cleansing my soul Hearing the music Of stories untold I continue to twirl The laughter will heal A weaving of purpose A fraction now whole Each scar is a treasure A blended new me These angels and devils Incongruent harmony Though brutality clear From sacred to scarred It’s not just having notes It’s choosing melody.
